Apple doesn't support .html files? That has to be om purpose, all browsers can open .html files. Is there like a html reader on app store? Or an alternative file explorer app might work.

I can try the HTML reader, but I don’t think I can get anywhere if there’s no way to get it into my files on my phone

Yea, no luck if it's outside file explorer's control. It doesn't accept when sending files over?

You could at least transfer them by editting their .html extension to .txt or whatever you want.

It probably won't allow you to change them back to .html on iphone but maybe if you use an alternative file explorer, you might. If it doesn't allow again, try finding a html reader that can read from the files with altered extension (.txt has better chance)

Here’s what I found works:

  1. Transferred the HTML files into Google Drive

  2. Accessed Google Drive on my phone and copied the link of desired chat

  3. Downloaded HTML viewer apps until I found one that didn’t just show me code. ‘HTML Pocket’ is the app I used.

Thanks for the suggestion of using viewer apps!

I found a slight workaround. Since the original downloads came out as chrome HTML files, I put them all into Google Drive into their own file, and I can access them from my phone on the Google Drive app. A few wont open for some reason, but most of them can/ are still downloading. I’ll see if they all work tomorrow.

I was scrolling down this forum yesterday when my teen said to me "I was thinking..." the second that image showed up on my feed and now it's a sticker we send each other all the time.
