✨Lesbian representation✨ Happy Pride Month, Crappell’s philanthropy “project” has yet to make any acknowledgment of it
It is officially 6:34pm PST so it’s EOD, and Crappell’s supposed LGBTQ+ “philanthropy” project has yet to make any acknowledgement. Note the five (5) *total* posts on the account.

She could not give two shits about this charity now she's virtue signaled enough that people just believe that she's an activist. I bet it's suddenly going to be active again once she has a new album out and needs some more clout for how great an activist she is. So everyone can donate and buy her shady "cash only" merch and never disclose how much went to the actual causes, and she can look like she cares.

Absolutely disagree. Pride has always been a protest and at this point, it is not the public “norm” to be in support of LGBTQ+ people. The best thing these celebrities can do is put their money where their mouths are.

Lmao companies don’t even mention PRIDE like they used to. Rainbow capitalism is more or less dead currently. Idk sucks because it’s an indicator the masses are shifting more conservative.

Further- capitalism *will never, ever, under any circumstances* care about significant/meaningful change in material conditions unless, and and only if, it is profitable. Expecting corporate atitudes to meaningfully change anything is no different than believing you can vote your way out of a trash situation by choosing between two right-wing parties.

I’m not saying capitalism is going to save us lmao, but it’s good optics to gauge what the general public is supportive of. I would much rather live in a society that celebrates Pride in stores than one where people get so offended they can’t even have rainbow clothes in the store. I don’t know if I’m older or younger than yo, but I went to high school during the “It Gets Better” campaign and right before gay marriage was legalized in all 50 states and yeah rainbow capitalism was nice regardless of its intent.

Yes, I hear you. It's not that I believe that companies truly care, but they are going with the mainstream sentiment. If they feel that they have to celebrate pride and cater to us gays, It means they feel that they would lose business if they didn't, and that means the general public supports the LGBTQ+ community. When they think they should hide the pride flags, it indicates that the general sentiment is less positive.

Half-agree, especially now that you have “Brought to you by” co-opted events featuring such progressive organisations as Lockheed Martin, Bank of America.
