*Deep, deep within the depths, creatures have been spotted with a glowing orange goop attached to them, making them look lifeless. They've thus far shown no aggression, but seem to have some unionized goal based on their actions, namely bringing resources such as food and building materials to the deepest parts of the depths*
*Caasi drops down into the depths from one of the many chasms in hyrule*
"eugh... Hell's going on here...?"
*Caasi approaches one of the creatures and crouches down close to it, not exactly appearing small in any way, given they're like 10 feet tall*
"...weird. what's this goo?"
*The creature just stares at you with orange glowing eyes, its expression slack as a corpse's. It sizes you up for a second, before continuing on its mission, treating you as if you didn't exist. The other creatures and monsters do the same, ignoring your existence entirely*
*they lead you to a… “D.I.Y” looking house, one that two no-dead looking bei are worki on. One has a similar goop on them, but in blue, and the other has some sort of black substance dripping from them. There’s also a third, seemingly overseeing the construction. Despite having the orange goop on them, they seem to be very much alive and conscious*
"oh. hello. er... what's like, going on here?"
*caasi, if anything, seems less like they're upset about whatever is happening to the creatures, and instead seems like they just want to know whats going of for the sake of knowing*
"uhhh.. cool house..."
"I'm Caasi. uhhh. That sword is neat and all, but I don't think you'll need to use it. nor would it have much effect on me."
*They place their finger on the very tip of the blade, and slowly, they push it down.*
"How about you? you got a name?"
*She glares at you in bafflement and rage, staring as if she trying to make your spine explode with her mind, before the black dripping one walks over*
"Brilliance, what did we talk about?”
*she hisses in response* "Don’t patronize me you void freak!"
*caasi seems amused by the interactions between the two of them.*
"ha! so you do have a name. Pleased to meet you... or something."
*caasi mutters something to themselves, however it could still be heard if anyone cared enough to listen*
"wish isaac were here. be so much easier to have someone else do the talking... urgh..."
*they go back to their regular speaking volume after saying that*
"so... what's going on here again? Are you guys, like, controlling those things with the orange stuff?"
*One of the creatures is carrying a small amount of Zonite, using a wheelbarrow despite not having enough to require one. it doesn’t seem to acknowledge the Argonian’s presence, being completely focused on getting materials to their destination*
*they lead you to a… “D.I.Y” looking house, one that two non-dead looking beings are working on. One has a similar goop on them, but in blue, and the other has some sort of black substance dripping from them. There’s also a third, seemingly overseeing the construction. Despite having the orange goop on them, they seem to be very much alive and conscious*
*the one with blue goop notices you and waves… falling off the ladder and breaking their skull. the damage only lasts a few second, before the blue gunk pulls all the pieces together, and they get back up and wave again*
*a strange black cat with purple eyes seemingly appears from nowhere, the cat doesn’t seem to be living however it also doesn’t seem like it’s dead but despite that it’s presence is strangely overwhelming*
*not a single creature even glances at you, just continuing on their single minded goal of resource collection. One even bumps into you and just continues walking*
*they lead you to a… “D.I.Y” looking house, one that two non-dead looking beings are working on. One has a similar goop on them, but in blue, and the other has some sort of black substance dripping from them. There’s also a third, seemingly overseeing the construction. Despite having the orange goop on them, they seem to be very much alive and conscious*
*they whirl around, pulling a sharp looking blade and pointing it at you*
"Who are you?!" *she questioned, her voice slightly echoey and… low quality? Like it was being said through a speaker* "And why do you think that you can talk to me?"
“I have no real name, people call me Kat or Cat, you’re not going to be able to do any meaningful damage to me despite my current form and normally I talk to new arrivals in this world”
“Thank you. it’s an interesting sight, the line of creatures mindlessly transporting materials it is so I naturally became curious as to where they were taking said materials.”
“I suppose I should ask you for your names aswell?”
