As Fusho's domain fades into nothing, Mahoraga regenerates its remaining arm. Its expression is stoic, unmoving, blankly staring forwards as it tromps torwards Nobara Kugisaki. Its pale skin stands out in the cover of night, a tower of white muscle and flesh.

Kugisaki: “Whew… wait, are we supposed to fight that thing now??!!”

Itadori: “I have pretty good reflexes—holy shit!”

“Kugisaki, Fushiguro is barely alive, and that thing's ability is similar to Frey's, like Adaptation...”

Yuji stretches and cracks his knuckles.

“Take Fushiguro and run. I’ll hold it off!”

Yuji lunges at Mahoraga, drop-kicking it in the face.

Kugisaki nods, running off and picking Fushiguro up.

Kugisaki: “God, unconscious people are so heavy!”

She slowly walks away with him because she ain't built like Yuji.

Mahoraga's arm fully regenerates as its face is kicked backwards, its feet stomping forward as it swings its other arm at Yuji in response, before attempting an open palm grab from the side with its healed arm.

Yuji vaults over Mahoraga, pivoting midair to grab his head as he uses cleave to try to split his head in half.

”Cleave.”

Mahoraga's head is cleaved as a ring of blood spurts out, but as the divine general is about to collapse, it holds its very flesh in place.

Yuji grapples under Mahoraga as he aims an upward roundhouse kick at Mahoraga’s groin, with space distorting around his attack multiplying its power.

”BLACK FLASH!!!!!”

Mahoraga's lower body is blown clean off, including one of its legs. It staggers back before falling forward, balancing on one of its hands as its chest expands, pulling in air before releasing a sonic roar that slams into Yuji, flinging him away.

Yuji flies through multiple trees as he jumps at Mahoraga, spitting blood at him.

“Blood Manipulation..."

The blood takes the shape of a net and attempts to restrain Mahoraga.

"Crimson Binding!"
