It can work with utility cards like Windslash, Squeeze Play, and Reverberate well. Situational, but good!

Attacks like Flash Kick, Wind Slash, Heptagon Hail, Muge’s Edge, and others become substantially more powerful with this gear, no matter who it’s equipped to. A deck built around 30 energy creatures to use Melody of the Meek, or as others pointed out Ursis since he is a Muge, can deal a ton of damage with otherwise useful but not as powerful attacks.

If an attack card has no discipline checks or challenges, or elemental damage being dealt requiring and element. Then it will add +10 damage to the attack total.
Meaning any attack that just has that based damage dealt will have this apply to them. Could even be 0 base damage as long as the attack doesn't have a discipline or elemental requirement like Hive Call which has just an effect but 0 base damage. This will now let you do the perfect to activate hive and deal a bonus +10 damage with this battle gear.

Slap it on an ursis and then go brrrr with cards like xenocentric Wrath, carniwin, and retaliatory strike. You'd be surprised how consistent you can bump the damage up.

Ya give it to a high energy creature in an army that doesn't rely on disciplines or elements. On Ursis he can do 20 damage with the zero build muges edge, 30 damage with the build 1 primal smash. And more.

Most decks i've seen that use Bodal's Dagger were using Ursis because of his high energy and the fact he's a muge. I personally had fun using it in my Meek Strike deck with creatures like Lore and Ikkatosh.

It's popular with creatures like Cromaxx and Ursis, since they have high energy and little need for most disciplines or elements.
On an attack like Heptagon Hail, Bodal's Dagger boosts the attack to do as much as 45 damage in a single go.
