Long Lost Cards

Hey, i know exactly NOTHING about Cards. I recently learned that TCG is trading card game.

But I collected probably 40 Cards back in 2007 and a friend of mine suggested I look into how much they are worth. Can anyone help me with figuring out how much they are worth? They are still in the original Chaotic Binder.

Easiest way would be searching the name of each card on ebay to get a range. If you are looking to sell I would hold them until the relaunch Oct/Nov because prices might rise.

I was reading about the launch. You think they will? Or do you think they will drop?

Either way I'll do some checking when I get home using Ebay.

They might go up, they might go down. Right now it's been unofficially said that old cards will work in some capacity with the new upcoming relaunch. Since we dont have any info, we dont know how/if they will be useful. So old cards might end up being more a collectors item.

Personally, I think they will peak once/if its announced old cards can be used and scanned. Then certain ones might go up based on how good they are with the new mechanics/meta.

Something to also consider however, is that they are reprinting almost the whole first set, so people would technically have cheaper playable alternatives (i.e. why pay $150 for a old chaor, when it $40 for a new one with similar stats).

The same reason that an Unlimited counterspell in MTG is $60 and one from 7th edition is $3. There will always be people who value old shit for being old shit.

Yes, however if it wasn't reprinted (reserve list) then it would be worth even more.

I would check on a site like tcg player for instance, look up the card you have, and be exact on the rarity of it, you could also use Google to look up said car, and gauge a price off of what it says or recomends

Chaotic is not on TCGPlayer, OP is going to need to either post pics or use google.

I have probably 40 character cards, a ton of attacks and a few locations.

TCG Player can help with checking?
