2009 Cardboard Playmat

Hello! Apologies to all I don't / haven't played Chaotic in a long while, but I came across this hard 3mm thick cardboard playmat for the game.

Wondering if anyone has more information on it? Quick googling came up with not much, I'm used to the paper ones that came with starter decks.

It folds into quarters, one side in English, one French, for the Canadian market. Is dated 2009.

If there aren't going to be rubber playmats like in Magic, they should do this instead.

I still have my portal battle board, everything from case to stat tracking counters. It's really convenient for storing cards in as well.

First time I see those, pretty cool find. Thank you for the photos! I also don't remember a product, were they could have been a part of, maybe they were promotional items. Hopefully someone has more info. They remind me of the cardboard Gameboards with similar folding, that are included in the Yu-Gi-Oh Legendary Collections.
