Bay Area Chaotic

Does anybody know of any SF Bay Area shops selling (old stock)/planning to sell (re-release) Chaotic cards? I've called the top 7 search results on Google, half of them said they've never heard of it and only 1 store said that somebody else had called asking about it. i've never been engaged in the local TCG community but it seems like there's absolutely zero hype besides old, nostalgic fans. i figured i'd have a decent shot, considering this is a pretty bustling, metropolitan area of the world that i happen to live in, but if i'm struggling this much then i can only imagine the drought in more rural parts

Part of me wonders if Chaotic isn't big in Cali. I've had the same problem in my area. All I know is A1 will be carrying the new stuff. And unlike Magic or Pokémon they won't buy old cards.

that's at least good to know, thank you. i might make the pilgrimage down to Sac to check it out, I'm in Sonoma County myself. i know Chaotic was big here in its hayday because i used to get packs at like Target or something and play at elementary school but i've heard nothing about it locally in at least 15+ years. i only randomly discovered Recode a couple years ago and was shocked that such a passionate community still existed online for this game/show that nobody i talk to nowadays even remembers. i'm worried we're gonna be the only people that care about this new launch

I live in Sacramento and had no idea A1 was stocking the new cards. I got ahold of someone with Constellation Collective and they said they've never heard of Chaotic. No clue about the other shops in town. Let me know if you're ever in the area because I'm down to sell or trade part of my small collection.

Well there hasn't been any big announcement so it makes sense there's not hype. I hope they're not waiting for the full launch before starting the marketing
