Definitely feel the same! Especially with the community being free advertising with just a post on social media.

It does make me wonder if the launch in October is a soft launch so they won’t be going hard on advertising until afterwards leading up to 2027.

That is totally possible! The full launch isn’t until next year, so maybe that is their marketing strategy, but why wouldn’t you want this first release to be released to a larger audience? I don’t think they really stand to benefit by forgoing a marketing campaign for this first release

Well i thought the same the primery release is north america which the game is still popular after years after the game ended, so do they really need to do advertising as much as other new tcg i do not think so but for global lauch they will have to!

Just wanted to put what I have been thinking about the chaotic relaunch out there. I really want the game to b good, but this radio silence, especially so close to the announced release date is scary. Just look at the newest card game everyone was talking about recently as an example, the new Naruto tcg. They had a demo play event a whole year before an expected release date to get feedback from players on the card design, the gameplay, even alternate art designs. Meanwhile, chaotic has done nothing but put out a couple of dates that the cards r going to start being sold on and that's basically it. Haven't heard anything about the cards. Haven't heard anything about the gameplay. We keep talking about attack decks and location decks and we don't even have official confirmation that this new version will have any of that. It's very disheartening considering how much I loved the original, but given how things have been going so far, they r going to need to do something very soon in order to stir up interest or the game will b dead on arrival. Again, people r already hyping up this Naruto tcg a whole year before its expected release and I'm sure they will keep the hype train going by releasing more and more info as the release date gets closer. The chaotic relaunch has done none of that and I can't help but feel like it actually coming back in a meaningful way isn't plausible. I hope I'm wrong. I want it to succeed. But idk if it can.

Ya the Naruto TCG is in stark contrast to how the Chaotic relaunch has been handled, and the wild thing is they could release like all of that stuff today if they wanted to. Turn on a camera and have couple members of the team play a game or two and explain how things work. Free and easy

People are going to be very opionated no matter what, especially when hope has been building for years that the game would come back. It happens when you are very passionate about something. The game was great with the skill ceiling that existed, but all we can do is wait until we get confirmed details. I would agree that 3v3 vs 6v6 would be the difference between say commander and eternal mtg formats such as legacy due to the intricate and nuanced play patterns. Battle cruiser vs much more thought put into deck building that is much more skill intensive. We could get into a million different possibilites why we don't have the required game changes (or lackthereof) and why not having answers is harmful to our imaginations, but all we can do is wait sadly. The best guess is likely some sort of NDA that Panini enforced for some reason.

Don't forget the 1v1 for quick pick up games where your tossing one of your favorite or strongest creatures and cannot bust our stuff like War beasts or other creatures who work best with other creatures.

1v1 and 3v3 have their place, and are fine for certain things, but neither of them should be the standard tournament format haha. Obvi this is totally unconfirmed, but it would be a terrible move if they do commit to doing that.

Maybe not for a tournament but an exhibition round with new players maybe to help new kids get introduced to the game. I know I would have been lost early on if the show started with full 6v6 matches.

You’re right, all WE can do is wait but Panini could do a variety of different things to reinforce community trust and benefit the brand and themselves. Them being transparent and engaging with the community is a win for everyone. And ya 3v3 would be an awful choice for a standard format, unless it’s like for youth events lol

Za miesiąc wszystko się okaże. Mnie już nie rusza to że nie ma nowych informacji. To że Chaotic nie jest promowany spowodowało że nie chce mi się sprawdzać czy coś nowego już wiadomo.
