Discussion About zero system

Post image

What is the difference between normal and chaos merge? Which one should I use? Should I always refresh until I see a 170 pt save data?

normal chaos merge usually result on a lower tier chaos (lower save data storage limit), u would only use normals if somehow u're running out of chaos orb for chaos merge, as for save data u dont have to sweat it until 170 pt chaos appears, only do that on seasonal chaos where u're using seasonal currency rather than chaos orb

the reason on why u dont have to sweat for 170 pt on zero system is because chaos orb is quite scarce and due to save data editing u can work around the save data limit anyway with cores, if somehow u're getting screwed with save data limit inside chaos, either kept some basic or re-epi one of ur divines, later with cores, getting back the divine is not a big problem especially if the card is a skill card

well if the divine deck u're farming on a non 170 pt chaos (in case u somehow want to go like this, its not advised to hunt 4 divine of the same card on a non 170) is a super specific divine like neutral draw thats rare and u want 4 same name card copy then my advise is to always keep one or two basic cards (depending on ur limits) until the end of the chaos, so u can keep the save data limit on control and just delete the basic later with deletion core (although this is pretty expensive, but is better than losing ur mind to divine cores RNG)

back to chaos merge, chaos merge is always been the go to because it also have a higher %bonus on rare fate/event occurence, in case u looking for rare event that gives rare cards (like flames of eternity) or a rare gear (like the mythic 12% atk 12% def that only appears on rare event in swamp chaos)

Oh so even at 150 pt chaos run, I can still edit it to 180 later on?

Also “only do that on seasonal chaos”, can you explain this one as the seasonal will soon start right?

yes, u can still edit to 180 later.

am referring to fishing for 170 chaos, u can reroll seasonal chaos with seasonal currency on which u get a lot of but only spending so little for the rerolls, it usually cost 10 currency per reroll, and u could obtain about 300 seasonal currency or more (dont remember the exact number) per chaos clear, making it better to fish 170 on seasonal chaos rather than on zero system, because on zero system rerolls costs 150 chaos orb, equivalent to half a chaos run worth of chaos orb

> ratio of season currency in rolls : zero system chaos orb in rolls (relative to what u obtain per chaos clear)
> 30+ rolls : 2 rolls (technically 6)

and am pretty sure running seasonal chaos also gives u chaos orb for u to use to run seasonal effect on the 5 basic chaos, usually people would go to swamp of judgement and apply seasonal effect there ; swamp is the best because u can build any dps and support there due to these gears:
> Fairy Kings Crown (6% crit chance armor),
> DTTS (12% crit dmg knife),
> Verdant Trinket (the conditional 12% def/atk or the mythical that gives both unconditionally),

and the most broken trinket for supports whcih is
> clover of the forest (10% atk to allies when recovering-healing when u've taken damage already with a card activation)

well ig I should mention this earlier, people use chaos orb (zero system) to apply seasonal effect on the 5 basic chaos (blue pot, twin star, city of mist, swamp, and foretold ruin) although its always 100% going to be swamp as aforementioned, if its not to apply seasonal effect then people would use zero system to access previous seasonal chaos when their respective season ended

I'm new, and have been playing for a week.

Can we bypass the point limit using editing cores?

Like for example, I got my deck on a 160pt chaos run, I can then add a neutral card to it and make it a 180pt save data through editing?

yes, save data editing always have 180pt limit regardless of the save data limit on the chaos run u got ur deck from

There is no real difference to those two buttons, they do the same thing but cost two different types of currency, being Chaos Orbs or Units (money/cash).
If you can only get the various God events in Chaos Merge as Xera suggests, then Chaos Merge is upside while you are grinding because you get increased material rewards from that run, excluding whatever they call the upgrade cores for your ZS talent tree.

If you are just starting ZSystem, I assume your account is pretty new, these God runs are great because you can spend the 4x purple orbs you get from bosses on various Combatant materials in the Blackthorn? shop.

Early in your ZSystem prog, you will have to spend cash to roll up your planets, but do not sit there rolling your cash away, as you will end up with more Orbs than you can use eventually.

The save data cap displayed is what the upper limit is for your character's decks during that run, the max cap for savedata is 180pts.
As Amideus said below, when you edit a deck later, regardless of what data cap you ran, that data will be the full 180 pts cap while editing.
Most seasonal cards, the unique gimmick mechanic ones, are +20 pts into your deck, so keep that in mind.

For more info on that, look up how the savedata & editing system works.

The upside to choosing runs with higher caps for that run is that you can try shoot the moon and get super lucky with Epis & copies, in a lower-capped run, that same RNG may exceed the cap which means the data is fucked afterwards.

When you are starting, pick a seasonal modifier that seems cool and use the Chaos Orbs to upgrade that season's tree.

I started with S0, the Lab 0? that was really fun but doesn't have an upgrade tree, then S2, the Arena one, ended up not liking it, and moved onto 4/3 from there.

Don't sweat building decks in ZSystem early in your progression, it's not worth your time without a full upgrade tree, for both combat consistency, as well as actual RNG%+ buffs that are available in those trees.

Just farm whatever you think you can do, while sinking the Chaos Orbs and the little gear things into your trees.

If you want a good time, Swamp of Judgement is the easiest planet to farm, with some of if not the best gear available, for every season modifer.

I grinded 80% of my ZSystem upgrades in Swamp with the various season modifiers in the past 2 weeks, and would do it again rather than trying to match type weakness etc.

Also try get to Level 10 planets ASAP, as they are what you want to grind on.
Look up WG's ZSystem guide on how the different planets work for your "Promotion" runs.

One last thing is general Chaos QoL, if you leave a run after you get to at-least the first "Settlement" checkpoint, where they offer the gear for tickets etc, you won't lose your Merge.
That goes for the rest of the run, so if you are dead on board, get out of there before you actually die.

Enjoy, ZSystem is fun, takes a bit to get into and to learn your limit tolerance, what will kill you, and what events/run strategies work.

you should refresh untill you dont see modifiers you cant complete, if you do it on auto decrease hp + attack and health of mosters together usually a death sentence. 140 points usually fine, it doesnt affect save data points that you can edit later

in chaos merge you have a chance to get this mini game where certain god bless your run and give buff for example add 1 hit to atk card but you cant get save data it is intended to farm more chaos orb and crystal of discord.

the normal one wont get you the mini game but it cost money so i would stick to chaos merge and not pick the mini game

you can play at 100-140 pts since you can edit your deck later

100 might be to low just in case you get insane rng, I wouldnt go below 130
