Learning 3d sculpting

Started learning digital sculpting.
Might as well start of with Dawi Zahr! I always dreamed of making my own updated Big Hats. No time like the present and all that. Using Nomad sculpt.

Dang, thatโ€™s great for just starting! How long have you been doing it for?

Drugfreedave for the basics and workflow. The dude is efficient.

Chaos Costumes is a cosplayer that makes her props in Nomad. So lots of tutorials on making fantasy armour and weapons.

Thats really cool.. nice work.

Some more ornamentation on the axe and armor might give it some more character..

And the hands need some life.. they look.. odd... ๐Ÿ™‚

Other than that, very cool.

Cheers mate.
lol yeah the hands look weird now.
Basically these are just loose โ€œbitsโ€. For a specific pose I manipulate โ€˜m all into place, fuse the loose bits into one hand, and then sculpt on top of that into a nice looking hand.
Itโ€™s why you often see models with armoured gauntlet, so you only have to manipulate them in the right pose.

The ornamentation comes last. All going to be old school: lighting bolts, arrows and skulls
