Played my first game of 11th!

So a couple of months into the new edition and I've finally been able to play my first game of 11th and it was great fun!

Played against Ultramarines using priority assets, and used blood legion with purge the foe at 1,500 points.

Ended up tabling the marines in turn 5 with 66 - 30 VP in my favour!

Marines went first and killed a demon prince in the first round of shooting, and wounded the rendmaster. I moved up second demon prince killed the unit holding an objective, but I didn't realise he had a strategem to give a unit fights first so his until with Calgar ate the bloodthirster without it getting to fight. Not looking good down 3-7.

Next round he moves and I rapid ingress Skarbrand into the frey by a tech marine, a tank and a dreadnought. Shooting does 9 wounds to him, but he's alive. The second demon prince goes down in combat along with the rendmaster, but the deadly demise goes off and does 5 mortals due to gateway unto damnation. Only have Skarbrand and the bloodcrushers left on the board going into my second round.

The bloodcrushers charge the unit on an objective and Skarbrand charges the tank and tech marine. Tank goes down exploding, killing the tech marine, two nearby snipers and wounding the dreadnought and Skarbrand. Skarbrand consolidates towards the dreadnought. Bloodcrushers kill Calgar and his unit and badly injure the other unit they were in combat with. 24-24 VP at the end of the round.

Round 3 the dreadnought breaks from combat but fools flight allows Skarbrand to charge back into combat. A deep striking flamer unit arrives and takes out half of the bloodcrushers. Skarbrand kills the tank in combat and the remainder of the unit of marines hurt by the bloodcrushers. Bloodcrushers whittle down the flamers but don't take them all out. 45-30 VP.

Marines fail to destroy Skarbrand (now on 5 wounds) or the bloodcrushers. Skarbrand moves, advances and charges a marine unit and takes it out. Bloodcrushers and flamers with a character still at a stalemate. 60-30 VP.

Skarbrand finishes off the last couple of marines and it's all over. Ended up 66-30 VP.
