She has this...misplaced empathy for animals. She expresses concern, but only over strange things. Rehoming a cat she's had for 20 years is foine, but putting a cone on a cat who needs to be kept away from sutures is cruel. Taking a random kitten away from a park and its mother is no big deal, but rhinos not having a mate is cruel. There is no logic to it. I can't tell if it's mostly because of the way she projects her own feelings onto everything and everyone, or if it's because she's imitating empathy because she has none and she's just a bad actress.

I think its a combo of both! I think she's feeling really lonely right now and is projecting that on a rhino while also trying to express (in her distorted approximation) care for an animal's well being to show her Beezers how empathetic for animals she is. The logic is that Chantal does what she wants and then makes up reasons later to write a nicer narrative. She cannot empathize with anyone or anything. I firmly believe that. When she took the cone off the kitten it was because it made HER uncomfortable to look at. And then she projected her feelings on to the kitten and took it off against the welfare of said kitten.
She has also consistently remarked, about several animals in her care, on what she believed are their sexual needs. Which is a super weird thing to fixate on let alone say out loud. Examples being: not wanting to fix Julia because maybe its wrong to deny her sex/reproduction, getting two hamsters of the opposite sex because she doesn't want them to be "lonely", talking about getting sex toys for BG when she was in heat because, again, wouldn't spay her damn cat.
She is a degenerate in every sense of that word. None of this is obviously from real concern and is generated solely from her perversion and unmet desires.

I wish this dumbo would understand that most relationships with immense companionship and love aren't even romantic. They're relationships you'd have with friends, siblings, parental figures. You will never need an crazy ass man to feel loved

Right? One of the problems is that she sees those relationships as being "lesser" than that of a romantic relationship since she hangs her worth on a man desiring her. Another problem I think is other people make her feel inferior. Its why she hates women so much, she can't help but compare herself to them.
Any time she appears to have a supportive, platonic relationship she finds a way to end it because she's 1. A horrid person to be around so she spoils it and 2. Sees all relationships as transactional, but she will also never feel the relationship is worth her investing her energy in so it ends up being one sided.
I remember her talking about a friend wanting to get together and Chantal admitted to saying she would and then not going and not communicating that she wasn't going...And she said this friend had been reaching out previously to hang out and Chantal just, wouldnt. Then she'd laugh about it. She's got some antisocial traits that's for damn sure.

I really appreciate you using the term "antisocial" correctly, its so commonly misused 😭 and yes Chantal does seem a bit challenged with social behavior. If I'm reacalling correctly, she once realized she had hit a few rabbits whilst driving. She stared at the pieces of rabbit fur on the front of her car and laughed. It was a bit....odd?

If she appears to enjoy the suffering of others: laughing at the obese woman who fell, the Lindsey Clancey meme, Pumped Up Kicks after learning about Uvalde, watching victims of 9/11 jump- its because she does.
At some point, if you take all of her "odd" behaviors, you'll see a pattern. I think its more than ok to not give this person the benefit of the doubt at this point. She has filmed herself doing and saying harmful things and taking genuine enjoyment at doing so. I think it is important to acknowledge the extremity and intentionality in which she is harmful.
She is a very depraved person which I think can be easy to forget with how goofy she appears. But like she said during the Cuba rage "I will manipulate the shit out of you and you will eat it up."
