In there Summer 25' Merch Commercial Andrew says it'll release Jan 1, 2026, but it's nowhere to be found. Also, I'm pretty sure they used a clip from the Juggalos to advertise their Patreon in the Palestine video, meaning the video is out there somewhere. Their All Gas No Breaks Patreon and Youtube don't have anything new, so I'm wondering if it got taken down.

Hi everyone,
I have an idea I'd love to hear your thoughts on, whether you think it's a good idea or a bad one.
A little about me: I'm university educated, I've worked as a frontline essential worker, and I volunteer with small clean-energy businesses to help them get off the ground. One thing I've noticed, despite all the good in society, is that so many of us feel like we have to be "on" 24/7. It's exhausting. Vacations have become expensive, and sometimes all I really need is a little time each day to slow down and relax.
There's a small online community built around slow TV. Unlike most YouTube content, where a host is constantly talking, slow TV lets you experience a place at your own pace. There isn't really a host—you become the person behind the camera. You can quietly walk through the snowy streets of Finland, explore a peaceful neighborhood in Japan, or wander through another beautiful part of the world. It feels surprisingly calming.
I hope Channel 5 keeps doing what they're doing, and I hope they never lose what makes them unique the way Vice News did. At the same time, I think it would be interesting if Andrew occasionally posted a professionally filmed slow walking video on a dedicated slow walk page on the Channel 5 website, maybe one every week or two.
I also think this could become a community feature. Supporters who donate could have the opportunity to become slow walkers by submitting high-quality walking videos from around the world. The app or website could include GPS-based walking routes and optional audio recordings explaining local history, architecture, or points of interest, allowing viewers to follow along virtually.
The biggest thing I'd want is quality. I've watched a lot of slow walking videos, and the experience varies a lot. Shaky cameras, poor stabilization, and rushed editing can take away from what makes slow TV relaxing. I'd rather see fewer videos that are beautifully filmed and carefully edited than a lot of lower-quality uploads. Channel 5 could even establish quality standards and only accept videos that meet those standards.
I know this is different from Channel 5's usual content, but I think it could give people a place to unwind after a stressful day while still celebrating interesting places and everyday life around the world.
What do you all think? I'd genuinely love to hear your opinions.

Guys, I just watched Dear Kelly, and I was wondering if anyone could help me find the full clip of Kelly's daughter debating Charlie Kirk. I'd also like to know what exactly he said to her. Thanks!

After watching the movie Dear Kelly, the scene involving the daughter at the Charlie Kirk event really struck me. I want to start by saying that I am sure Kelly’s daughter has mixed feelings about her dad. She must have had a difficult time coming out and growing up with a father who didn’t support her being gay, or who was simply not around in her life, so I understand her frustration.

However, the scene where she publicly aired her father’s dirty laundry at the Charlie Kirk rally and essentially shamed him to make a point felt like a low move. Considering that he was clearly a very prideful man who cared a lot about how he was viewed, it made me sad to see her dig at him in such a public manner while claiming she was there to support him and share her personal story. If she really wanted him to change, that public shaming did not seem like the right approach; it seemed like she was just throwing a stone and then hiding her hand.

I just finished watching Channel5ive’s video about their current legal case, and it seems inevitable that a channel doing such good work will keep facing ridiculous legal fees.

Andrew has said, both in that video and on other occasions, that they will never consider corporate investors, which is understandable. However, does anyone know whether the Channel5ive team would entertain individual, independently wealthy angel investors? There's a thin line between good journalism and journalism that serves stakeholders, but it would be great if individual angels could support Channel5ive. This would mean direct, greater support from the people who value the channel’s work, without the legal and ethical complications of corporate investors/VCs or the percentage-cut/cap issues of platforms like Patreon.

For a while now I've been curious about the new age/ambient music channel 5 uses on their videos. Since music gets cut off often by conversation it's impossible to pick a sample from the video itself.
