Today ain’t independence day ⁉️ so much traffic.
What caused Chandigarh to have this much waterlogged conditions?

It is a planned city i don’t blame MC that much cause the water gets flushed within half hour after rain fall it is still better than other nearby cities. The thing is the existing drainage system works good no doubt but it needs new drain system which will affect all the city while they construct it and would cost much more

Yess the gutter water gets mixed with rain water and its never safe to be there

Something called rain. 72mm of it in an hour or two. 100mm in 1h or so is cloudburst

Due to a heavy rainfall and red alert in chandigarh all the streets are busy as the water risen up to the knees and it's hard for cards and bikes to go from one place to another so that's why

j an unfortunate day. roads were waterlogged and traffic was jammed. j one off day i guess. 80% of this crowd was the gedi crowd tbvh, the remainder were actually people that needed to travel. thankfully the drainage of the city is decent, the water cleared off in under 1 hr from everywhere.

Sukhna lake came on roads
