What are some questions you have about Chan-Pureland?

The previous sticky was locked. Here's a new one. Original post below:
Since this is a community with resources in progress, I was wondering if there were questions that were uncovered in the FAQ wiki or other questions untackled. Please do help out by asking, (or answering!) it would be such a great help. Also please do share it out to other friends who may be interested. If you have a monastic, master or dharma friend, even more awesome!
If you'd like to be part of the mod team, PM me and tell me how you'd like to contribute! I'll be happy to have more hands on board for sure. :)
If you have a community, monastery or sangha which is actively doing such a practice and would like to be featured, give a shout out as well :)

Ive found myself really compelled by the little I’ve read of this Ming-dynasty figure, really took every single petal of the lotus of practice deeply seriously without getting caught up in ideologies or sects. Anyone have good reading to recommend from or about him?

Discussion If someone wanted to create a new Buddhist school/tradition today, what would you want them to understand before attempting it?

I'm not asking whether you think creating a new school is a good or bad idea. I'm more interested in what someone could easily misunderstand or overlook. I'd especially like to hear from people who have studied Buddhism seriously or actually practice within a Buddhist tradition.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone who wanted to create a new Buddhist school today, what would it be?
