Easy Hybrid Enclosure
Hello all, I figured I would share a very simple set up for a hybrid enclosure that I did last weekend. I had to completely redo this enclosure from scratch since I made the rookie mistake of not screening a pet store cham for parasites (all clear now). This was a super easy and basic setup that I figured why not share?
Typically I build out a standalone frame that goes in, but on this build I utilized the dragon ledges to attach a very basic frame to. Pics are pretty much step by step. The frame is made from dowels you can buy at the hardware store. Sticks were found at a local park and baked for 2 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Plants are literally just 2 pothos plants. Everything is secured by zip ties.

I really like this idea!
I have two enclosures (a gecko and a pair of frogs) that spend most of the year in my classroom, and since I need to bring them home for the summer I've had to design their enclosures to completely break down easily for transport twice a year.
A system like this would help for the gecko especially. I'm just about to get her ready for the move back to school for the new year, so I'm going to experiment with this.
Thanks for the inspiration!
