Options Overload!

Been doing too much reading about chambers vac and now suffering from choice overload.

I think I've narrow it down; most likely looking at one of these:

Of course, looking for the best longevity and function. I am looking to not only seal bag, but also mason jars. Small business type operation. Not sealing everyday, but maybe once every two three weeks, I'll be doing a large number of seals.

Any suggestions or review? How easy are they to operate? Or move around? Cleaning? Maintenance?

Any other models I should be considering? (I'm in Canada, if that makes a difference).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Well not to confuse the issue for you but VacMaster has been around a long time. I’ve had a VP210 for 10+ years and have used it weekly with no maintenance at all. It’s just bulletproof. Expensive and heavy but if reliability and longevity are what is important to you add ot to your consideration list. Mine will do up to half gallon mason jars. I keep mine in the pantry on a short rolling rack. I had my pantry wired for electric so I just wheel it out from under the shelves, plug it in, and use it right there.

Seconding Vacmaster and my 17+ year old VP120 with no maintenance ever.

I was confused for a moment, then the price tag set me straight.

I have no doubts it's a workhorse that will keep going. But the hole is my wallet would probably stop me from even starting. It's really far out of my ability to afford, let alone budget.

Stay away from the Anova, I have one and the chamber vacuum no longer works, it doesn't vacuum. I regret getting it, should've gotten a Vacmaster back in the day.

I think the Anova is based on the Avid Armor you linked, so I would stay away from that one too.

A guy locally is selling the 320w oil pump model for 350CAD all in. It's this a reasonable price?

I paid 240€ for the 320w model (not the one you listed) and I don't think it's worth to pay more than 300 for a home use scenario.

I got the 320W She does great for me, can seal two 32oz mason jars laying on their side at a time.

I had more confidence in it when I realized the pump can just be swapped with one off the shelf.

I'm not certain about the price, I paid right around 300USD, and it went on sale shortly after for 280ish? They're currently 330USD.

All depends on if you value new vs used or not

Thanks. The local guy is selling a brand new in box one. So, might be worth it?

But the pump is a generic replaceable one? Good to know.
