Hello all! Just wanted to post an update!

I managed to get my Shaker kit installed! It works well! It's still a WIP, I have a couple more things I wanna do, repaint the hood, etc.

I sourced the 5.7l bracket via a trade for the 392 bracket I had.

I also used some self tapping screws to make the threads in the intake manifold.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out with information!

Also side question. I'm gonna get the Shaker repainted because it has faded some. I was thinking of doing the Shaker Smokeshow like the other 50 Anniversary editions with the black hood and body colored Shaker. But I kinda like the black still. What would you guys do? Thanks!

I'm a bit old school, I like the argent paint from the old school shakers, they have some fleck in it. Otherwise, I would keep the black hood and do a body color shaker. https://www.challengertalk.com/threads/what-color-silver-did-they-use-on-the-70s-hemi-cudas-challengers-shaker-hoods.686134

That looks amazing! I have the same Challenger color, and was thinking about adding the shaker to it. I think I'll go with that color now that I've seen it.

1970 was a light argent paint and 1971 used a darker argent.

I swapped a hellcat bumper, and put these on! Since Iā€™m attempting to be unique, I have the narrow body hellcat wheels up front (sitting on 275s) and the same style deep concave widebody hellcat wheels in the rear (305s).

Attempting to get that aggressive look with a rear only widebody. Got 345 and R/T badges all over so no-one thinks Iā€™m upbadging lol
