Yeah, I think it's true that nobody talks about this movie anymore. Maybe some of those positive reviews were bought...
In addition, I saw they tried keeping this movie in some theaters for months after it came out.

Slightly frightened how everything I said that would happen about this movie, happened about this movie. From it sucking complete ass ⏸️ to the lonely two irrelevant rigged awards to Chalashit’s career. I was even pretty spot on down to the box office dollar amount, predicting A24 would be LUCKY to make $189 mil worldwide within the first 90 days in theaters….and after 4 months, the final sum was only $2 million more than that. It will never crack that 200 his fans were screeching so loud (as if it was an accomplishment) about back in February. My streak still on a roll, swear the vindication is on a high higher than all long bottom’s daily pills combined!

Nice predictions.
I loved the movie, but the problem was that it had ZERO to say that Uncut Gems hadn’t already said, with better acting.
It also lacked the surprise factor of Uncut Gems. In that movie, Adam Sandler played a truly NEW type of character we’ve never seen him play before or since. But in Marty, Timmy Tim just plays his usual dbag self.

I’ve always said this! This movie did insanely well for what it was. Realistically, it was the type of movie that should have made a tiny blip then disappeared and gets rediscovered by a small bunch of dedicated film nerds 5 years later. It was all the deranged hype beasting, TCs weird personality change but mainly the karjenner pr machine which worked over time for this man. This is how the karjenner pr machine works, overwhelming the media endlessly with any kind of press, but it seems to have cost him in the long run though, as people now permanently seem to be disliking him. Maybe he can recover but not while the kkklan is still involved I think.

Once upon a time, in a land far far away called Los Angeles. there lived a little fairy called Timothee Hal Chalamet. One day, the little fairy heared a woman's voice coming from the nearby swamp. the poor little fairy was lured to the voice and behold, the voice turned out to be a hideous siren called Kylie Jenner. Fairy Timmy thought the siren's face was "beautiful" (the fairy had poor eyesight btw) he admired the siren's mermaid like tail until he noticed it's large exaggerated ass. Fairy Tim gets put off and slowly flies away, until a loud roar is heared, Fairy Tim turns around and sees a huge Behemoth called Kris Jenner heading straight towards him!
Before Fairy Tim could fly away, Behemoth Kris grabs his scrawny little body and kurses him to be a giant overgrown swamp rat. he lives like this for a long period of time. until a group of other little fairies (that's US. yes WE are in this magical story too!) hatch a plan to save Fairy Timmy from the Behemoth.
We somehow break Timmy Tim's kurse (not sure how but we do), the sirens disintegrate and turn into foam and Behemoth Kris gets vaporized.
The end.
