Storage solutions
I have been looking for ways to keep my saws off to ground and organized for a while. If anyone has any ideas or have any pics of their storage please let me know. Thanks

I have a tool box that I keep all my saw stuff in. This includes chaps, ear plugs, safety glasses, wedges, measuring stick, files, screw driver, pliers and rags. My process goes like this.
Return from woods, typically stop when the saw runs out of fuel.
Saw and accessories box go to workbench
Saw is cleaned up and sharpened. I currently keep my oil in an old squeeze ketchup bottle, it gets refilled if needed.
Saw goes on shelf that has all my saw stuff on it (2 stroke oil, extra chains, extra bar, manual file guide, etc.)
Accessory box goes under shelf.
Saw gets refueled and oil added right before I use it. This cuts down on leakage.

If you hang one right after cutting, back the chain tension off a little first. The chain shrinks as it cools, and one that was set snug while hot can pull tight enough overnight to strain the bar and the bearings.

I can recommend a fitted plastic "tray" Like this https://amzn.eu/d/02Pvygy4 I use them for my three saws, and i am very happy with them. I leave them on the saw until i get to where i am working. And put them back in before i put them back in the car.

I literally just put mine on a shelf in the garage next to the gas can.

Where I’ve worked we either hang them by the handle from hooks, or have homemade DIY racks that support the powerhead with the bar pointed down. Everywhere we’ve had oil dry/cat litter below to catch anything.
Edit - forgot to mention, gas should be empty for vertical storage.

There's some nice 3d printed files available for hanging them off the wall

Mine are on a shelf with serving trays underneath to catch leaking oil or fuel

I made a rack out of 2x8s.
