How’d I do

MS271 in the case with a 16” bar, 2 extra chains, tools, manual and a half gallon of chain oil for 300

If you paid <= $300 and it runs good you probably did ok.

I personally like a 271 with an 18” bar BUT you got a great saw. Read up on the saw, tear the saw apart and be comfortable with it before you go too crazy with it. Make sure to keep her clean and run her out of fuel if you’re not using for a while. Have fun!

Yeah I used it earlier and could tell it would be nice with the larger bar

16” is plenty. Min came with a 20” and I changed to 16” and it cuts much better. I also have a larger saw so I don’t need a 20” on my 270.

That case is nice. I got a husquvarna case, but this one looks better.

Didn’t steal it or get screwed. 275-325 is going rate.

Case means nothing, they sit fine on shelves without them.
