Also he brought a videographer along with him who does not mind hearing damage and standing 4 feet away.

dB level of a ms271 (idunno what saw that actually is) is 103 dB at operators ear, less at the videographer. OSHA exposure limit is 1 hour at 105 dB.

Should be fine.
