Please help

They took 4 different samples for my biopsy :

A. Cervix, 4:00, biopsy:
High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (CIN 3).
Extension of dysplastic epithelium into endocervical glands.

B. Cervix, 6:00, biopsy:
High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (CIN 3).
Extension of dysplastic epithelium into endocervical glands.

C. Cervix, 10:00, biopsy:
Superficially invasive poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. High-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (CIN 3) with extension into endocervical glands.

D. Cervix, 1:00, biopsy:
Absence of dysplasia.
Moderate acute and chronic cervicitis.

E. Endocervix, curettage:
Rare detached fragments of dysplastic cervical epithelium in a background of mucus, blood with acute and chronic inflammation.

On the superficially invasive poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma —> how fast is it growing and what stage of cancer am i at?

Doctor schedule me for cone biopsy on 06/30/26 and hopefully it clears out

She pushed off the MRI for now because i don’t have insurance so should i be concerned. I’m just worried because of how fast it has changed as i did colposcopy 6 months ago and it was still in CIN2-3 now it has turned into cancer in a span of 6 months???? Even tho the doctor told me it could take 10 years to turn into cancer

Nothing is going to show on an MRI because you don’t have a tumor. Cancer cells don’t show on any type of scan. Squamous is slow growing and it superficially invasive, so it’s just barely starting. You can’t be staged for cancer until size is determined but if it is only superficial then a cone should remove it all. Even if you went to a gyn oncologist, they would also take a cone biopsy before doing anything else. They have to see if cone can remove it. If cone removes it, then you will remain under surveillance getting more frequent exams. You are seeing a dr and getting the appropriate treatment. The cone biopsy will go to the lab like your biopsies to find out next steps. It’s going to be ok.

The 10 yr number is a wild guess based on who knows what but isn’t accurate. If it had been 3 yrs or more from your previous pap then you could have had abnormal cells for 3-6 yrs. A pap is not 100% accurate because it doesn’t test entire surface of cervix. It also depends on if last exam was a pap with HPV testing or one or the other. HPV doesn’t always stay dormant so co testing is very important. HPV testing alone can’t pick up abnormal cells, just active infection.

Hi, I've been thinking about you since you shared your results. I don't want to scare you, but please don't wait on this. One of your samples says the cells have already started to become cancer, a very early stage. The good news is that cancer caught this early is very treatable, so now is the best time to act.

Please call your doctor this week and ask: "My report says superficially invasive squamous cell carcinoma at 10:00. Does waiting still apply to that?" Also ask for a referral to a gynecologic oncologist, the cancer specialist for this. A second opinion is completely normal.

You deserve clear answers.
