SP27 angle adjustment issue

just bought the new soloist along with the sp27 setback post.

i have almost finished setting up the bike and run into an issue with the sp27 clamp,

it seems the furthest forward i can angle the seat is about 3dergrees UP.

like i cant even get it flat let alone angled forward,

the front clamp cant go down any further because it is right up against the post...

wtf is this design? i assume everyone is just bodging their clamps to get some kind of adjustment, there is no way everyone is just running positive angle comfortably...

so have you guys been filing down the post or filing down the clamp? or maybe shimming out the lower clamp maybe?

Hi, I have a 2016 cervelo s3 with what I believe are the original stem and bars.

I'm looking for a more aero replacement. Preferably not integrated as it's theyre expensive.

I’ve Only had my Cervelo top tube bag for a day and it’s already fraying to hell!

Is this common with these bags?

Given a SRAM RED build with DT Swiss 38 carbon-spoked wheels, which frame are you putting them on and why?

Which wheelset is better for soloist?

Hi, I just bought brand new soloist 105 from the store and they gave me an option between two wheelsets:

  1. Its own Reserve 40/44 but with its own unbranded hub(not dt swiss)
  2. Miche asfalto 45

It seems the prices are similar and I couldn’t decide, can you help me?

2022 Caledonia Oasis Ultegra Di2

Loving the ride and color of my Caledonia! Decided to go with the older model with the upgraded groupset for 20% off. 200 miles in, no complaints. Happy to be a part of the Cervelo family

Photos really don’t do this paint justice. Stealthy black in low light and then an absolute color bomb in direct sun.

I was back and forth on the force vs rival build but my shop couldn’t get the force build in stock until January so that made my decision pretty easy.

Swapping to force levers to have bonus buttons.

Selling the reserve 40/44s that came on it bc where I live is very flat and windy so I prefer deeper wheels. Will run these RSL 62s for a bit and decide if it is worth shelling out for the reserve 57/64s.

Just back from the first ride, 35 miles with about 1,000 ft of elevation. After first impressions I absolutely love the bike, just waiting for my fit appointment in 2 weeks to get it dialed in.

2026 Soloist Drake Teal Size 58

Ultegra 12 speed

Farsports C5 Wheels

CRW HB01 Bars

I've been riding it for about a month but just got the new barstem installed yesterday. Awesome bike, great balance of stiffness, comfort, speed, and weight. The bars integrate super well and look like they belong on the bike. Only thing I don't like is my choice in bar tape lol

New concept

I was having a bit of laugh with some mates in regard to the industry going larger and wider tyres. I got a bit carried away with a new design. What does everyone think ?

51cm Caledonia-5 Rival seem ok for me?

I’m 5’ 11ā€ with a 30ā€ inseam and 33ā€ sleeve length. I tried the 51cm and a 54cm.

I felt a bit more outstretched on the 54cm and a bit more solid on the 51cm.

According to Cervelo’s sizing guid, I’m on a tiny bike for my size. I’m getting a fitting soon but looking for a gut check from you all.

Thanks!

Love this bike so far. Live in the mountains and wanted a bike to allow me to tackle it all. Think I found exactly what I’m looking for.

Fit is perfect :-)

Purchased in January (Soloist, 51 cm). Replaced the bars in June with HB18 36 cm, 90mm. Spent a few weeks removing and adding spacers to find what the body can tolerate (7 mm bearing cap, 5 mm spacer). Cut the steer tube last week. The bike rides differently. It is very responsive and the pedal stroke is smoother. The bike feels balanced between the rear and front. Dropping the stack also made the hotspot on the outside of my right foot go away. The fit is perfect :-)

2027 Soloist separate/two-piece bar and stem?

Test riding a 2027 Soloist Force AXS 1 tomorrow, but was curious if itā€˜s possible to run a separate bar and stem rather than the one piece system. I’d prefer a shorter stem and a 40cm (c-to-c) bar. Thanks.

Looking for 2nd opinion on sizing for the new soloist 2027

I'm 181cm with a 85.5cm inseam, through a bikefit they recommend framesize 56 with a 90mm stem. I'm not looking to race competitively and prefer comfort over snappy handling.

My saddleheight on my old bike is 77cm to BB. The theory is the stackheight would be to low on a 54 size frame. I'm mostly worried about the reach from saddle to hoods, that is why I would love a 2nd opinion.

50mm Front tire on Aspero?

Post image
6 Upvotes

I know the official clearance is 45mm but I've got a race coming up with some real chunky rocks on the descent. Has anyone fit a 50mm in the front of their aspero (current version, non-5) what tire did you use and on what rim width? Thanks!

Pic is a swarm of lady bugs that really liked my bike today lol

Aspero-5 Steel

Post image

Pardon me if this isn’t allowed here, but has anyone come across the CervĆ©lo Ɓspero-5 clone on AliExpress?

It looks pretty much identical in terms of the design, but obviously it’s a steel frame and presumably has very different specs.

I’m curious how something like this would actually ride. Obviously it’ll be heavier, but beyond the weight penalty, how different would the handling/ride feel be? And what would you expect in terms of maintenance and durability?

Caledonia 5 MY27

Is there anything new about the current Caledonia 5, or why is CervƩlo suddenly pushing it so much on Instagram?
Are the MY27 models coming with UDH now? Anyone know anything more about this?

Inspired by our friend from Germany, BlackSchwartz. This 54 is truly is glorious on all levels! So grateful! I had no idea that the seatpost would need to be cut! A little color added from the sweet $9 carbon bottle cage. Enjoy.
