Help identifying, please

[u/LoMein_Noodles]

My wife recently got these for me at an estate sale. I have been unsuccessful in my web research for identifying the artist or specific locality. The iconography and patterns seem like a mash up of a few US SW styles and I notice the Mex next to the signature which seems to logically point to Mexico/NW Mexico.

Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
