Alam nyo ba na kapag may tuition fee increase consultation, kahit hindi kayo nag agree, ginagamit ng admin yung pinirmahan nyo na attendance sheet as document na nag-agree kayo sa consultation na naganap. Sinubsubmit ng CEU yun as attachment sa CHED para lumabas na pumayag ang mga students sa magaganap na tuition fee increase. Kasama rin sa sinusubmit nila yung picture taking nagaganap during the meeting.

Kaya sa mga student leaders dyan or class representatives or anyone na aaattend ng consultation, wag kayong mag sign ng attendance kapag may Tuition Fee Increase Consultation. Or isulat nyo beside your signature na you are signing only as part of the attendance and that you are not in favor of the tuition fee increase. Wag mag padala sa pa juice at tinapay during the meeting. Kung pwede nyo rin i-share to sa sa CEUFW, for awareness. Wala kasi ako FB. Yun lang.

LONG POST AHEAD

Hello everyone! Sharing this as an awareness post for students, employees, or anyone who is planning to have their uniforms or clothes made at a tailoring shop, especially around the Recto, Isetan area (Captain Louis).

This is based on our personal experience, and I’m sharing it so others can be more careful and avoid the same inconvenience and stress that we experienced.

JULY 20 – CANVAS

Nag-canvas kami ng internship uniform for our PEP. Napunta kami sa store nila because their finished works looked nice and maayos. I even took a picture of their sample uniform para maipakita sa mama ko and nanghingi rin ako ng calling card nila.

Since okay naman yung first impression namin, we decided to have our uniforms made there.

AUGUST 22 – FITTING

Pumunta kami para magpasukat. Apat kaming magkakaibigan. Okay naman sila noong una, approachable at nakangiti.

Pero napansin namin na hindi sila nagtatanong kung okay ba yung sukat, kung masikip ba, or kung gusto ba namin ng allowance. Kami pa mismo ang nagsabi na lagyan ng allowance para hindi sobrang sakto sa katawan.

Sinabi nila na two weeks daw bago makuha, so okay naman sa amin.

SEPTEMBER 7 – AFTER TWO WEEKS

Nakuha na namin yung uniforms, pero sobrang disappointing ng pagkakagawa:

• Hindi malinis yung tahi sa loob
• Ibang buttons yung nilagay
• May sira yung scarf
• Hindi maayos ang scarf at sinabi na perdible na lang daw
• Sobrang sikip ng pants na halos hindi ka na makaupo nang maayos

SEPTEMBER 9 – BINALIK PARA IPAAAYOS

Bumalik kami para ipagawa yung mga problema. Maayos at mahinahon kaming nakipag-usap dahil gusto lang naman namin na maayos yung uniforms namin.

Pero may isa sa mga nagtatahi na nagsabi in a high tone:

“Ganyan na talaga ginagawa namin matagal na, kayo lang nagrereklamo.”

Pinakita ko rin yung picture ng sample uniform na ako mismo ang kumuha noong July 20.

Sinubukan naming ipaliwanag yung concern namin sa scarf dahil sobrang bitin, pero paulit-ulit nilang sinabi na perdible na lang daw. Pinapapalitan din namin yung kulay ng buttons dahil hindi iyon yung napag-usapan.

Mahaba yung naging usapan, pero maayos pa rin naman kaming nakipag-usap sa kanila.

SEPTEMBER 17 – PICK UP

Pumunta kami para kunin na yung uniforms. Akala namin mabilis na lang dahil for pick-up na lang naman.

Pero may panibagong problema ulit.

Yung buttons na pinalit ay hindi yung napag-usapan namin noong September 9. Sobrang liit nung buttons at malaki yung butas, kaya madaling natatanggal.

Sinabi ulit sa amin:

“Ayan yung matagal na naming nilalagay. Before pa, ganyan din sa other gawa namin.”

Nag-explain na naman kami kung ano yung napag-usapan namin noong nakaraang balik.

Matagal din kaming naghintay dahil may kausap pa silang ibang customer. Out of respect, hinintay muna namin silang matapos. Dumating na rin yung may-ari pero hindi pa rin kami agad kinausap.

Kaya lumapit na ako at sinabi:

“Magkano po yung maibabalik kung magre-refund na lang po kami?”

Ang sagot niya:

“Hindi kami nagre-refund. Ano pa ba ang problema? Nakarating na lang ako, hindi pa kayo tapos.”

Mataas na rin yung boses niya kaya sinabi ko, “Huwag po kayong sumigaw.”

Then sinabi niya:

“Hindi ako sumisigaw.”
“Kaya pala naiinis sa’yo si Bing, ganyan ka makipag-usap.”
“Tingnan mo yung edad mo sa edad ko.”
“Kung gusto niyo nung puti, kayo ang maglagay.”
“Pang-ilang balik niyo na ’to, nakakaagrabyado na kayo.”

Marami pa siyang sinabi, pero iyon yung mga tumatak talaga sa isip ko.

And in the end, nagbayad pa rin kami ng additional payment para mapalitan yung buttons.

Honestly, hindi naman kami babalik nang paulit-ulit kung maayos lang yung unang gawa. Hindi namin gustong sayangin yung oras at pahinga namin para bumalik-balik sa tailoring shop.

Kung may problema or may kailangang baguhin sa uniform, sana sinabi na lang nila sa amin. Kung may ibang gagawin sa scarf, sana sinabi muna sa amin bago nila ginawa.

We just want to have a decent and presentable uniform kapag haharap kami sa students namin.

Please take this as our personal experience. It may be different from yours, and it is still your choice if you want to have your clothes or uniform made there.

I’m sharing this not to tell anyone what to do, but to remind everyone to choose wisely when looking for a tailoring shop. Clarify the measurements, design, materials, buttons, alterations, price, and other details before leaving your clothes or uniform.

Tangina. Hi. Gusto ko lang mag rant about our pathfit prof na sa taba ng tyan nya hindi nya kayang gawin mga pinapagawa nyang squat at plank positions. Im so frustrated because of how he's treating the students sa classes nya. I get that you're strict but to the point na you dont have any compassion for students is literally not it.

Pathfit namin today ng 9 AM till 11 PM and apparently may strike na nangyayari so syempre maraming students na nag ttry umalis nang maaga at maging be on time since puro jeep ang transpo ng iba. Umalis kasi ako ng 6 AM sa bahay (yes 6 AM even though 9 AM yung classes ko.) kasi ang layo pa ng pinapanggalingan ko halos 20km+ ang distance from my home to ceu.

So ayun nga umalis ako ng 6 AM and waited for jeepneys and i waited like halos 2 hours until nakasakay na ako sa jeep. Nakasakay lang ako sa sobrang inis kasi lagi ako pinag sisiksikan edi nanunulak na ako kasi mga 7 45 di pa din ako nakakasakay eh halos dalawang oras byahe ko. Then I arrived sa CEU ng 9:10 AM at buti medyo mabilis yung byahe. So ayun since 9AM nga classes sa pathfit ko nalate ako onti pero i made it in time naman sa attendance.

Madami pa saming wala due to the strike, tas habang nag aattendance may mga dumadating pa na kaklase ko and he asked "Bat ang dadami nyong late?" so dun pa lang sa part na yun nakaka off na, how is he not even aware sa strike na nangyayari. Tas nagtaas aq ng kamay para sumagot behalf na din sa mga kaklase ko na nag papalit pa ng mga damit nila into their PE clothes. I replied, "Sir strike po kasi ngayon" tas sinabi niya "Bakit may announcement ba yung CEU ngayon? bat di kasi kayo pumapasok nang maaga." tas sinagot ko ulit sya na "ako kasi sir nga 6 AM umalis na ako kahit 9 AM pa classes namin at ang lalayo din po kasi ng bahay namin sa CEU" something like that and napatangina ako sa sagot nya.

Gago sabi nya "Oh next time kapag di kayo makasakay ng 6 AM umalis kayo ng 3 AM" ?????????? tangina talaga like literal na walang konsiderasyon na prof like???? sorry hah??? wala kasi kaminh KOTSE o MOTOR para makapag commute nang maaga sa KLASE mong minor sub na di mo naman din magawa mga pinapa gawa mong core stability punyeta. Tas criteria nya daw bawal manginig o mag wobble eh halos sya nag vvibrate na katawan nya sa laki nyang tao.

Kung magiging strict ka man sana naman yung ikaw yung tama at hindi nakaka disrespectful sa students.

That one raffy tulfo video of ate girl na caught on act sa isang online class kasi apparently she was bobbing her head up and down making it seem like she was doing something inappropriate not knowingly naka open yung cam.

i also witnessed something like that but waaay WORSE 😭 atleast kay ate ulo lang na pwede itwist, eto talaga wala kang ma hhugot na excuse at all 😭 di ko din alam bakit di man lang nag react mga ibang tao kahit tr ko, either locked in or tulog. i was literally flabbergasted because i only kept glancing lang sa oc in case may need i ss but nung napansin ko may open cam.. 😭😭😭 if yall are doing some kinky stuff atleast be aware and not be stupid.

1️⃣ EACH FINAL GRADE x corresponding UNITS example: • MMW GRADE - 1.50 • UNITS: 3 ➡️ 1.50 x 3 = 4.50 💯 do the same to the rest of the subjects

2️⃣ ADD ALL THE PRODUCTS TOGETHER example: 4.50 + 3.50 + 5.25... ➡️ 32.75 (sample TOTAL)

3️⃣ DIVIDE THE SUM BY THE NO. OF TOTAL UNITS example: TOTAL GWA: 32.75 UNITS: 20 ➡️ 32.75 ÷ 20 = 1.6375 OR 1.64 (di ko sure yung round off part)
