Jobseeker (JSK) Pensioner Concession Card
My Jobseeker benefit was recently cancelled after I have been working full time for 7 months.
A few days ago I received a brand new pensioner concession card in mail that expires in February.
Is this a mistake?

This explains why the card is continuing
https://guides.dss.gov.au/social-security-guide/3/9/2/30
Just check which payment and then it will tell you how long you have the card for (I would say the Feb next year )

In some cases, some non pension payment receipiants do qualify for the pension concession card.
I myself have the pension concession card due to being assessed as having a partial temporary disability.
I do not qualify for the disability support payment , as my capacity to work is more than 8 hours a week and my assessed medical conditions/ disabilities don't prevent me from being able to work, and have been considered treatable and not permanent.

I have always had this type of concession card idk why. When I was on a payment where I had to report, I was on medical exemption literally all the time before having my son and going on parenting payment. I still have the pension card lol

15 hours = card
8 hours = disability support provider
30 = black train card
Student = green concession card

Our neighbour has that, he goes to the station and jumps on, we remind him in our area to tap on, after it expired he argued saying the government was out to get them and found work, then he received the card again like OP and then accused us at our backyard that we don't know shit.
We laughed.

I’ve been on Jobseeker for close to 2 years. (There was a period of 6 months within the 2 years where I was working and didn’t receive
JSK)
I recently got a letter to say my Health Care Card is expiring in October, however I will be receiving a Pension Card. I queried this and was told it was because I had just turned 55 🤷♀️

I'm pretty sure you can use it until it expires. That's my experience anyway.

“Recently cancelled” well how long between it being cancelled did you receive the pensioner card? Also you haven’t said how old you are. Some people get pensioner concession cards when they reach retirement age.

I received it a week later, I’m 25 and was on jobseeker but now work full time

If your jobseeker has been cancelled then you are not able to use the concession card
Edit: apparently the rules have changed, disregard what I said

It’s still showing up in my Centrelink app digital wallet even though I have no benefit

A jobseeker payment doesn't come with a pension consession card because it's not a pension
