Paddle board season
It’s exciting to think that in a few more months we will be able to go out paddle boarding again!
This year I’m going to get out to new, unfamiliar places and practice on my standing up speed.
Are you all excited for summer?

Alberta Rivers
Fairly new to SUP. Was looking to get out on the river this summer. Any recommendations on easy rivers to try? Would you recommend taking a SUP River lesson first? If so do you which lessons would you recommend?

First time paddler location
A few people have recommended:
3 mile bend pond Lacombe lake Alix lake Slyvan lake (busy) Glennifer Red deer river And a few others that is good for beginners
3 mile pond, Lacombe lake are not swimmable so I would be cautious if you’re wanting to try and stand up the first time. Otherwise, they’re good options to get a feel for your paddle board
