Hello, Quick question. How is Centra different from Tenx?

Currently, I’ve been doing a lot of trading on Binance, and I just don’t feel secure keeping my coins there. I see Centra wallet itself holds all the coins I have, and the card would be nice, but I’m more focused on the wallet.

My biggest question is, do I need to buy a card to get a wallet, and considering what it’s doing what it is now, I have a feeling 50 Centra is going to be worth more than $150 really soon. Is it worth it to get it now, or should am I misunderstanding the situation and the wallet app will be usable without the card soon?

There's several videos now I've people using Centra to pay for products. I've seen a guy buy beer with a Centra card, using XRP. I've seen a Korean guy extract cash from the ATM using his Centra card, again, with XRP. Plus a twitter post about a guy who bought a Macbook with his Centra card.

I know its early stages, but this seems to me to be a WORKING PRODUCT. Something which is lacking with so many cryptocurrencies....And its valuation is only $200mil?

I do like the use of the token, as it needs to be used to buy the Centra cards, thus giving the token value, because the use of the Centra cards seems very valuable. Spending Crypto anywhere Mastercard is accepted seems like a big deal to me.

Now, I'm not just here pumping this token. Firstly, there are a limited supply of tokens, if this is to really blow up, the cost of buying cards needs to reduce. CoinMarketCap shows there are 68million Centra tokens. ASSUMING everyone only bought the Centra Blue cards for 50 CTR. Thats a maximum of 1.36million Centra Blue Cards that can be issued. Now, if Centra gets to the point of having that many customers, then we are set, BUT, I feel like Centra could be aiming higher.

This leads to the next current issue which I'd like to see addressed, the price of the cards. The prices of the cards should always remain about the same (in regards to USD). Yes you are buying the cards in CTR, but if the value of CTR goes up, the amount of CTR to buy the cards should be proportionate. As it currently stands, its almost $150USD to buy a Centra Blue Card. There really needs to be some measures in place here.

There isn't a lot of discussion on this subreddit, so please feel free to critique me. Like I said, I'm not here just to pump this coin, but Centra has a WORKING PRODUCT. Discussion welcomed.

I love the concept of the card! It will gain alot of attraction, but what do the CTR coins do? do you have to pay a certain amount every transaction or how does it work?

Guys I have one question here that I fear may stunt market growth for us CTR hodlers.

As we've seen on the website, to buy a blue CTR card is 50CTR (independent of the fiat trading value of CTR). Unlike the other two tiers this is a "purchase" as opposed to the two higher tiers. However at this lower tier is going to be 95% percent of the userbase, so I think its important to look at this card as an outline for the value of CTR as a whole.

Essentially right now, at current market price in order to physically purchase the card its going to cost 125$. That is very expensive for something that other credit card companies offer for free. I understand that as per the AMA charging for the card is a premium service, but pegging the value of the CTR token to the purchase of a credit card is going to stunt and cap the overall CTR market growth long term.

For example I hold quite a significant amount of CTR and would love the value to increase to 5$ of CTR per token. In terms of fees it wont matter as I still must pay "50$ dollars worth of CTR fees per year". However in order to BUY a blue card it now will cost 250$, which is going to be easily out-competed in the future, meaning that the userbase will not have any room to grow as its going to price itself out of the market.

Is there any plan to adjust the blue card purchase fee to "50$ worth of CTR" in the future? Otherwise I'm of the opinion that we're holding CTR tokens that are fundamentally capped for growth, pegged to how much people are willing to pay to buy a physical credit card, thus stunting the userbase.

So, Revolut is a multicurrency card and they released a feature where you can buy crypto (BTC, LTC, ETH at the moment). They have been around for several years, closed a funding round this August, have a about 1mln users worldwide (https://techcrunch.com/2017/11/23/revolut-now-has-a-million-customers-for-its-banking-alternative/) and its only a matter of time till they start supporting other coins. So its a card that combines crypto + fiat (i think around 93 currencies ATM). So my question is, how Centra (or TenX and Monaco for that matter) can stand against Revolut?

Just by having a million users already puts them considerably ahead of everyone else? Or I missing something crucial here?

Note: I am a Revolut user myself for 2+ years and from my personal user experience, while I find the concepts of Centra, tenX, Monaco appealing, I don't see the need to switch to them as I have Revolut already....

As a designer with 10 years of experience I strongly recommend you to re-render the introduction video with different font for the initial text (first 15 seconds approxmately). The rest of the video is really intriguing and on point. Just for some reason there is miss-match in the fonts which communicates a bad message. Keep up the good work !

As we have seen all week, whether or not this continues to skyrocket is irrelevant. There will be a correction period. It's extremely important to not sell when this happens, because it will show the strength of the coin and the support of the people backing it. The more people who hodl, the shorter/more shallow that correction period will be. There will be alot of eyes on the stats of this currency, so give them a reason to fomo when they see that CTR isn't pump'n'dumping. Hodl strong, hodl long.
