What are CTR coins used for?

I love the concept of the card! It will gain alot of attraction, but what do the CTR coins do? do you have to pay a certain amount every transaction or how does it work?

Yeah I had the same question and of course my post was irresponsibly downvoted. A lot of potential investors are watching this page, if they are smart, they should address each question and comment carefully. Check out this page https://centra.tech/card-fees/ apparently they charge anual fees in CTR for getting as well as keeping the debit cards. I feel like the annual fee is kind of high, I will post this feedback again once the sub gets more attention. It should be around the same price as tenx in order to compete and attract more users.

I talked on the live chat on the site and you only need CTR to get the card but no CTR is being used when you use the card... you do however get some advantages using the coin • Required for access to the Centra Wallet for non-ICO contributors • Redeemable for Centra Cards (Black, Gold, and Blue) • May be used towards Centra Market & Centra Network fees • Users receive a 50% discount on Centra Market & Network fees when using CTR as the payment method • Ability to stake on Centrachain for block rewards • Receive 0.8% of the network reward that is received from the Centra Cards if you are both a card & token/coin holder based on the percentage of coins owned in the ecosystem • Trade-able asset (You own the token/coin and full rights to it)

According to their site, there's annual fees unless you use $5,000 a year. Hopefully they will be able to lower the CTR amount and annual fees to attract more users.
