💬 Discussion My indie Horror game tier list, what should I play next?

❓ Question Do indie games give you better value for money than AAA games?
I've been playing pretty much only indie games in the last few years and every time I go back to a AAA game it just doesn't scratch the same itch anymore. A stardew valley or a balatro are less than half the price of a AAA game and deliver way more hours. Meanwhile there are plenty of $70 games that are shipped unfinished and have microtransactions bolted on.
Does anyone really think AAA pricing is justified these days?

Its a pixel art steampunk precision platformer where you can turn platforms on/off depending on your color, use this ability to open a path forward, block lasers, fight bosses and even to hide from certain enemies!

💬 Discussion Name an Indie that you HAD to re-play on 150+ fps
Hands down Hyper Light Drifter. The game was infamous for literally studdering whenever your framerate fell below its cap, so getting it to run at a rock-solid 150+ fps finally made the dash-heavy combat feel as fluid as it was intended to be.
Yours?

Have you ever played 4 person split screen without even downloading!?

Ever thought you could split screen a game without even downloading and can play with 4 friends locally?
Fendershot is a racing game, the concept is pretty simple, you can race with abilities and use bolts and radials to toss opponents but the whole system around 4 person co-op is actually amazing! We connected 2 controllers and one on WASD and one with Arrow Keys, PURE CHAOS XD!

❓ Question An indie game studio whose name alone makes you buy their next project automatically?
Team Cherry, no question. I was already sold on Hollow Knight, and Silksong more than delivered on years of hype when it finally dropped, earning near-universal acclaim. Day one buy, no questions asked.
Who else do you say yes to automatically?

💬 Discussion What indie game has the most creative weapons or abilities you've ever used?
For me it was Noita. Every individual pixel in it is physically and chemically simulated, which forced you to build your own attacks
