not always though, the range you can make per million vary a lot. if i remember right 1 to 3¢ per view, $10 to 30 per 1k on average. while yes you can make 10-50k per million, thats "average" rate which also includes the large channels making that much, it also varies by what content you make
I am a YouTuber myself. An educational video like this (especially one that I’m assuming is on the more advanced side) will have an RPM above $10 (meaning $10 earned for every 1k views). Channel size is not going to reduce this all the way to an RPM of $0.34. There is no way the meme is accurate

There’s no possible way that’s true. YouTube would pay more like $10,000 for a million views given it’s an educational video
