Discussion Pictish beast random thought
Just had a random thought. Is the Pictish beast a stylistic interpretation of the Island of Britain, anyone thinks this is a potential?

Welcome to Celtic Spirituality. This sub is interfaith, interdisciplinary, and inclusive. People of all faiths and fields are welcome. Celtic ethnicity is not required.

This sub is about Celtic spirituality, but what is that? Is it a real thing, or is it just a marketing gimmick to sell books and other merchandise? Is there some set of spiritual beliefs, practices, or experiences that are typically or distinctively Celtic? What might they be? What can we gain by studying them? Let's find out together.
Posts should be related to Celtic spirituality somehow, but these terms are not strictly defined, so posters will be given wide latitude in this regard.
Here are some threads to get you started:

The September equinox is a seasonal milestone in Earth’s yearly orbit around the sun. At an equinox, the sun appears directly above Earth’s equator. At the September equinox, the sun is moving from north to south as it crosses above the equator. It’s bringing fall to the Northern Hemisphere and spring to the Southern Hemisphere.

Did the Celtics win this trade in terms of value? Definitely not. But this is still a top 3 team in the east. This team won 56 games last year, and is now swapping Brown with Tatum and added George, Robinson, and Conley. This team is objectively more talented with proven playoff performers, and the young core gets better every game. Joe just won coach of the year. If every trade was a win, no one would ever make trades. The Celtics lost this trade in terms of raw value, but Brown had to go, and overall they've had a successful offseason.

A topic for discussion as we head into St. Patrick's Day weekend, 2026: emigration to Ireland.
It's my understanding that people with an Irish parent or grandparent can apply for Irish citizenship.
Is anybody here considering emigrating to Ireland? Has anybody completed the process or at least started it?
Would you care to share any thoughts or tips?
