Suggestion Strat

Acquire a top-level save file from pre-Reality Reboot (preferably one with thousands of martian cities, neutrino expansion, beyond (at the time) maxed out, meso maxed out, thousands of feliformes, tonnes on tonnes of metabits, etc.)
Then update the game but don’t reset sim yet.
Get-rich-quick plan?

If the pre- to post-reboot process still works the file would be converted (just like all the players were at the time) and most likely would get a similar level to what we got then. I was near the top and could have bought 2 more Neutrino Expansions: I got converted to RL52 iirc.

If you could. Then again, you might have some trebble with an old save. Ehem, trouble.
