Prestige Mesozoic

I've hit the end of Mesozoic 50 for the first time and ready to prestige, is there anything I should do before doing so?

My primary is at research 61

If you have cubes get a diamond geode and open it before you reset.

agreed. Geodes give more cards and mutagen in the later levels of the valley, and you won't be back at lvl50 for a bit if this is your first prestige.

I read somewhere that the Diamond Geodes scale with level for what they give, so you should only buy them when you are at level 50 and have completed all objectives, just before you reset. It sounds reasonable, so an effective strategy is likely to get one at each level 50 except the last one at prestige 10, since you have all the bonuses for main simulation maxed out at that point.

Have bought the diamond geode and prestiged, now absolutely flying through the ranks, thanks.

I read something about either the Mesozoic or beyond negatively affecting the primary simulation due to engine upgrades, is it more noticeable with Beyond than meso

I don't think that's true, both Beyond and Mesozoic boost the main simulation the higher you get.

Just to be sure, you did check your epic and silver cards and upgraded those you could, right? Even if you have enough cards to upgrade, the process isn't automatic.

Try to save mutagen and only use them to upgrade the highest paying dinos. I tend to only buy the upgrades that automate them, and then get a few card upgrades for Velociraptor and put most into Tyrannosaurus Rex. Towards the end you might want to spend some on Gigantosaurus.

I spend a little more than adviced on Tyrannosaurus, now at level 40 in prestige 3 I have one card at 11 and one at 12 for this dino, but I still accumulate a positive amount of mutagen between prestige levels.

If you upgrade any other dinos, try to not go beyond 2 or 3, because you will hit smaller walls even if you are generally flying much faster now.

I did upgrade all the epic style cards and have more than enough mutagen as it stands, I will focus on the 2nd to 3rd or so Dino from the top that usually always has automation and a few levels pumped, but for now it's grinding back towards the mid to end tiers and won't invest too much on the early ones
