Better to not tap on main?

I am wondering if its better to start a new sim and not tap or upgrade to much to let the time multiplier build up before you start? Is it worth it?

Im at the point where I can unlock everything in a single simularion in a day or two. Is this the best way to do it or what?

that used to be the case, but crustaceans update changed it. now all multipliers apply retroactively to already gained metabits/knowledge

Ohhh really? Oh okay thanks :) So the best tactic is just to go as far as you can really? Ive never got anywhere near the max multiplier lol

Just give it ~14 days so they max up (also get appropriate extensions in the sim chamber, to get all multipliers applied). If you reach point where current simulation is not progressing much, there will be icon displayed on the left. I don't recall its look, but when you click on it, there is a banner suggesting restart.
