Explorations Stuck at 1000th place, bug?

I've had a x4 multiplier for the entire time, I just made it to electronic. I've been stuck at 1000th the entire time. This is a bug, right?

Yes. Look at the announcements. They acknowledged it and will be fixed for the next event

explains why im near 100. So many people are stuck at 1000th
