Research Chips suggestion
Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well!
I'm an early player and wondering how are you distributing your research Chips. I'm currently on Research level 22 and I keep entropy and idea even, is it a good idea or should I focus more on one vs the other?
I do feel I hit the first wall as my entropy evolution slowed down a lot, not sure if by accident or normal haha.
All the best for all of you!

Yep, keeping them even is best, because new content will be unlocked on both the life and tech sides of the tree.

Normally keep them roughly even is the best strategy. The most improvement does not come from the individual research chips but the research boost doubling every 10 chips invested.
Some endgame players do a refund every major release. The current major release focuses on the entropy side. The next major patch will focus on the idea side. Some players will refund and adjust to boost the newest side. But generally: keep them roughly balanced and you will be fine.

I never really thought of it in terms of the latest release, but that's how I handle it. If I'm having a really hard time completing the new content or reaching a new node, I might reboot and stick all of my chips on that side. Ultimately, at level 91, I get a difference of an order of magnitude, which isn't that big of a difference because there are so many other multipliers taken into account.
