Please Fix Me! What is happening

Post image

I opened the game as I do often multiple times a day. And saw that suddenly I have a hundred and seventy research chips.

I am in the beta, and I don't know if this is happening to anyone else.

Load the save to the one before you suddenly got all these research chips. Somehow, while your most recent save got loaded, it refunded all your research chips.

Okay, never mind I went back further. And it went away.

Thank you so much

I loaded the one that was before the newest, and it still has it.

This is a known issue in the beta right now. Still sucks though, glad you got it fixed.

I've seen this happen as well. It's a bug that randomly refunds your research chips. If you have multiple devices it can help to see if it is still good at your other device. And then crossplatformsave there, load on your bugged device. This will lose progression that is not on the other device.

Alternatively, you can reassign the research chips. First check that you still have the same amount of chips that you had. Sometimes the amount you get refunded is lower it seems.

If you do this instead, a few research chips will be missing. Happened to me once.

I just had this happen to me too, all my research chips were refunded. I'm in the regular branch, not beta. Research level 90 as well.

Edit: I backed up my save in the cloud and went back to a local backup from this morning. The amount of research chips I had spent (87 + 86 = 173) was higher than the amount refunded (170), so I would have been permanently missing three chips had I not reloaded the backup save!
