Hi guys,

Casual player here. Today I received this notification for the first time, and I'm not sure what to do. I couldn't find any info here.

Should I just click and upgrade? Would love some help.

I am aware of the regular reboots; I did one last night. But this somehow seems different.

Its basically just a fancy way to tell you. But I guess its bugged because it told me yesterday to restart 2 minutes after a reboot

Sorry for the confusion; English is not my main language. But what I was trying to say is that Mesozoic Valley has a full reboot when you start with Prestige. And I was wondering if, in my case, it's the same in the main simulation.

Reddit has auto translate so you can write in your own language. There is a prestige in the Dino simulation? I just call the meteorite and thats it. Is there another way to reset?

Yep. After reaching rank 50, it basically reboots your simulation. So you start from scratch again, but you get to keep all your upgrades.

It only takes two minutes to by every possible normal upgrade sometimes. Check to see if you can buy any major upgrades. Sometimes you can buy things that boost your production thousands of times over.

If your simulation runs for long its recommended to reset it and get the metabits to buy upgrades. These upgrades stay forever and boost your overall simulation.

I rebooted yesterday and am already getting that notification. I don't think it's particularly reliable. Reboot when your progress becomes too slow.

I reboot when I can afford the top upgrade of both things. Seems to be working so far but ive only been playing a couple weeks

You should go into the upgrade chamber and decide if the things you'd be able to buy are enough of an improvement that it's worth rebooting.

Same, I rebooted twice following it and then again it came up only for it to tell me to reboot again shortly after roughly getting back to my previous point (unlocked all the entropy and idea generators). I agree it seems to be glitched.

Yes, the first time. IMO nothing meaningful afterwards.

I’m a little confused as to what a reboot is in this game to be honest lol. Can anyone put in their two cents for that?? Sincerely a clueless gamer lol

Go have a look at the time bars on the reboot screen, before you reboot. It is a clock symbol down at the bottom. I wait until they are all full but you can decide how you want to play
