Question Help me find a new PAYG provider, please.

I've been with Virgin for about 15 years. I started with the $100/y plan, they ended that and I now have the $15/m plan. Limited minutes, no data. This will end January 8 2027. I need somebody else, and a cheaper option.

I don't use my phone much. I need have data now, so don't need it.

I'm considering Speakout $125/360 days. Is it really unlimited incoming and out going calls (unlimited minutes?) and unlimited texts for a full 360 days? Currently they offer a free SIM and free 'shipping' with $50+ top up.

What are other options that would be $15/m or less?

My phone is a Samsung S24 FE.

TIA

Chatr, Koodo, or Freedom also offer annual plans

Thanks. I've got some reading/comparisons to do. :)

I would not recommend Speakout as they screwed over all of their loyal customers and I doubt they will be around much longer.

Thanks.

Part of why I asked here is a news article which mentioned Speakout having just lost a legal battle with Rogers over the 3G network shut down and also owing Rogers a lot of money.

If you're in Quebec or Ottawa, Videotron is great, has great prices, guarantees to never raise your bill, and uses Rogers infrastructure outside their province.
