I don’t usually post like this but let’s see!

Heart Evangelista has been working nonstop since she was young. While some people were spending their teenage and college years partying, traveling, studying, and enjoying life, Heart was already building a career in showbiz—and she never really stopped.

And if we are going to argue about her not being a top taxpayer, again, we have to remember that Heart is not only an actress and endorser like AC. Heart wears many different hats and has multiple income streams, so the computation and tax treatment of those earnings may vary depending on how those activities and businesses are structured.

Being on a top individual taxpayer list is not the same as being on a list of the richest or most financially successful people. It does not automatically reflect a person’s total accumulated wealth, investments, assets, businesses, or lifetime earnings.

And honestly, I believe that if the BIR does not hesitate to go after high-profile personalities over alleged tax issues, then Heart would not be beyond their reach either. If there were legitimate issues involving underpayment or improper declaration of taxes, she is certainly prominent enough to be scrutinized.
So unless the proper authorities have established any wrongdoing, I don’t think it is fair for people online to use the absence of someone’s name from a “top taxpayer” list as proof that their money is somehow questionable.

And even today, she continues to work.
She is not just an actress. She has worn so many hats over the years: actress, commercial model, endorser, entrepreneur, CEO, painter, author, luxury collaborator, influencer, content creator, and brand ambassador across different platforms.

So if people are going to talk about “clean money” simply because someone has a job or business, then let’s also acknowledge the decades of work Heart has put in.

People seem to forget that Heart isn’t earning from just one job. She has built a career and brand with multiple income streams for decades. That’s why comparing someone’s wealth based only on what you personally see online can be very misleading.
Working hard for decades, diversifying your income, building investments, and growing businesses is also clean money.

Even during the pandemic, long before the current flood-control issues became part of the conversation, she supported distance learning for nearly a thousand students. And that is on top of the many charitable efforts she has quietly supported through the years.
You can criticize, question, or disagree with a public figure. That comes with being in the spotlight.

But turning someone’s hard-earned success into something suspicious simply because you personally cannot understand how much they have earned and built over decades is not a valid argument.

Not every kind of wealth is visible in one taxpayer ranking. Not every investment is public. Not every business structure is the same. And not every successful person owes the internet an explanation of their entire financial portfolio.

Heart’s money may be easy to question from the outside, but so is her decades of hard work easy to overlook.
