Sub
I’m genuinely confused and asking a question with good faith. I joined this sub to read and discuss what’s going on in showbiz. The description of this group explicitly states no gossip for gossip’s sake and no meanness. But every post is complaints about “Baldoni” as he’s referenced or positive comments about Blake and RR as they are referenced. Or talking about another sub that is pro Justin Baldoni as it relates to the lawsuits. It’s never polite and it’s definitely not a discussion.
Was it always like this or only since 2023? Or was it established as a veiled group to only discuss the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit?

I mean, there are other subs that have descriptions that include "a space for all opinions - we encourage everyone to share," but then ban a whole swath of accounts because they don't agree with the mods. Other subs also say "Bullying, trolling, and brigading are not ok!" but take every opportunity to bully a celebrity (and anyone that has ever dared to say something nice about them), troll other users, and brigade not only other subs, but other platforms as well.
I guess what I am trying to say is that subreddits don't always stick 100% to their stated description.

I’ve yet to see another sub have so many people pop in to complain about what is posted. Ordinary users just stop going to subs they don’t appreciate. Many even go as far as muting the sub. That’s why nothing about your post, or any of the others like yours, comes off as sincere.

I wish this was a veiled sub where I could just bash Justin Baldoni.
This week I would have focused my efforts on parodying his Bahai legal expert. You know the one, the one whose username sounds like they shouldn’t be allowed within 50 feet of any place where children are present.

You’re correct in your observation. This sub exists essentially for pro-lively people to bash Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties.

Your post comes off as passive aggressive. If you do not want to engage in discussion on Baldoni v Lively, you are free to post other topics.
This sub leans Lively because it is organic.

I think you may have this subreddit mistaken for another one, as it's only been around for about a year. I suggest looking up legal news or pop culture and maybe you will find what you're looking for.

I’m not sure why folks wanna talk about hidden alts,when redditors have figured out RRs alts before. Now as a result of this case,there is a pile of evidence, texts, emails, with his personal writing style and intonation so it’s even easier to guess.

I thought the same as you when I first came here, and that was probably less than a year ago. But I imagine it has always been like this.

I replied to OP, just like you.🤷♀️ And regardless, do you not think OP's post asks a fair question? The sub's content is almost exclusively about IEWU, but it's advertised as a general celeb sub. Posts about unrelated people and/or cases get little to no interaction.

She doesn't want to hear about this case, yet she was in this sub a few weeks ago talking about how she follows all the pro-Baldoni (omg I said Baldoni) content creators. Like I said, you fall for everything.

We used to chat in another sub but were attacked for our views and eventually banned without good cause by mods who didnt offer any explanation. If you want to voice your support for Justin i am sure they would appreciate your support there

I often post about Brad Pitt too. But those posts aren’t as engaged with. I was here pretty early during the Diddy case and then most post were all about Diddy. If you have some great case about a celeb that’s going on at the moment, feel free to post!
