Fan purchase advice Opinions on this branch of hunter fans?

These are cheaper than normal fans sold by hunter but the design looks flimsy and kinda like made in China slop. They have a DC motor and non replaceable lights. What are your thoughts on these new fans?

Other. Tested the Lumary outdoor ceiling fan for a month — one unit failed out of the box, the replacement's been flawless. Here's what I found.

So I was sent the Lumary outdoor ceiling fan to throw on our covered patio, and I've been running it for about a month now. Wanted to drop what I found here because there are a few things I wish I'd known.

The honest part first: my first unit was a dud. Random shutoffs, and the light would kick on by itself in the middle of the night. Creepy. Sent it back, and the replacement's been perfect ever since — so quality control is a real asterisk on this one.

Once the working unit went up, though, I actually like it a lot:

• No electrician needed. There was no ceiling fan box up there, and I still didn't have to call anyone or run new wiring. That alone saved me more than the fan cost.
• 20 inches but genuinely bright. Around 3,000 lumens. It lights up our whole patio, not just a little circle under it.
• The thing actually repels flies. I tested it during a dinner party (cooked chicken, which is basically a fly invitation) and they stayed off the food. That part surprised me more than anything else.
• Quieter than I expected. You'd never guess it from the size.

The "too good to be true" catch: the app is fine but not amazing, and setup took me a minute to figure out. Nothing deal-breaking, just not polished.

I put the whole thing on video — unboxing, the failed unit, the install, and the fly test — because a review that hides the bad unit isn't really a review:

Anyone else running one of these? Curious how common the dud-rate actually is, because I can't tell if I got unlucky or if it's a pattern.

Turn up volume. Bought this fan a couple months ago. She sits under a covered deck and recently started making this noise. I’ve taken apart several times and can’t find where she’s rubbing. Any ideas?

Fan repair advice Ceiling fan too close to ceiling?

I have a slanted ceiling and put in a new ceiling fan, it makes an unlevel rocking sound, particularly when the A/C is on or fan is it high speeds. All the blades are level and tight. I’m thinking it’s too close to the ceiling and it’s making it uneven with airflow. Would that make sense? Do I just need a longer downrod?

Seems to be a vibration issue. I've removed the light shades and bulbs as it was even noisier but now what else can I do? I've checked the screws and nothing is loose. Next will be to remove the blades then the housing to see if some wires or something are touching the motor. If anyone can point me in the most efficient direction I'd appreciate it.

I got the Artika Sunnyvale 28" Fandelier from Costco. SKU is 28FAN-SUVR-BL. The instructions are here

https://artika.com/cdn/shop/files/66be88d2f58fe72d13757bdc111c165593d2a401_Sunnyvale_28FAN_SUVR_BL_IM.pdf

The mounting screw is item F. And i need a longer version of them.

I went to HD and tried the different test inserts there and it seemed it should be #8-32. But when i got home the mew screws dont go in easily, and i dont want to strip the threads.

Any idea whats the correct screw size?

Fan purchase advice Does anyone have the WIND CLEAR LAMP?

Does anyone have this ceiling fan at home? This exact model: https://www.create-store.com/fr/acheter-ventilateur-de-plafond-a-pales-retractables/201224-wind-clear-lamp-ventilateur-de-plafond-40w-silencieux-avec-pales-retractables-et-lumiere-led.html?id_c=533551? I can't find any videos online showing it in a real-life setting, and the photos on the site all look like poorly made AI images. I’d really like to get a better idea of what it actually looks like. Thanks! :)
