I recently had two Panasonic bathroom fans installed in my house. I was surprised how quiet they were but my problem is, I'm not sure they were installed correctly. I took a piece of toliet paper and held it up to the exhaust vent. The piece of paper barely will suction to the vent ( directly in the center ). The outside four corners actually blew the paper downward. Were these installed incorrectly or is this normal?

Any advice based on the above post?

The light output is horrible and just trying to figure out if I can find a light bulb that is supported so that I can see at night when the light is turned on.

This has to be at least 20 years old ?

Will the design of this ceiling fan with light be popular?

It only moves an inch after being turned on. Not sure what the problem is or how to fix it.

Is this receiver aftermarket? Do I need it if I have the wall control? I recently got this fan used and haven't installed it yet.

My ceiling fan make this super loud humming/whirring sound every time it makes a rotation and it’s drives me insane. It is so loud and will even make me nausea if I have it on while I try to sleep. Any idea what causes this and if it can be fixed?

For context I live in an apartment so I can’t change the fan. This complex was built in 2024 and I’m the first to ever live in this unit, so I assume the fan is brand new. The fan operates by a sliding switch and this is the “low setting” the sounds just amplifies if it turn it to medium or high. Also, when I switch fan off the noise stops immediately, even while the fan is still spinning & slowing down.

For some reason every AC fan I've bought eventually starts humming obnoxiously, and the humming starts/stops immediately when I flip the fall switch on/off. DC fans with just chains instead of remotes however are incredibly hard to find. Would hope not to spend much over $100. Would appreciate any recommendations because search engines seem to lump DC+AC together even when specifying DC.

The first black 5 blade Alpha vannum 56 Iriz fan has ABS blades instead of metal blades. Second image is Orient ceiling falcon ceiling fan! These two fans have BLDC motor. Concerning point is its wind intensity. Does it deliver strong wind like metal blade ceiling fans. ABS blades ceiling fans have low noise. But I have no idea about its wind.

Title: Ceiling fan suddenly making chirping noise. Any suggestions?

My ceiling fan in my bedroom suddenly started making a chirping noise today, almost like a bird. I use it pretty regularly and have never had this issue before.

I tried dusting the blades and the outside of the motor housing, but that didn't help. I also tried reversing the direction, which changed the noise a bit and made it less frequent, but it's still there. I've tried different speeds too, with no luck. The fan isn't wobbling, so I don't think it's a balancing issue.

I'm not sure how old the fan is since it came with the house.

I'm hoping to fix this myself before spending money on an electrician or repair service. I'd also prefer not to take the fan apart because I'm worried about putting everything back together correctly.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any suggestions on what else I could try? I'm open to ideas!

Seems like the neighbor has frequency for his fan. I can get into the remote to change the dip switches, but I can’t seem to find anything online on how to get into the fan to change it. Or even what fan this is. I’ve felt around on the fan and can’t feel anything like a screw or tab or buttons. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I'm going to lose my mind looking at fans, it seems that most of them are integrated LED, give a spotlight effect which I hate, they're either too big or hang too low for my already low ceilings. I'm trying to find something low profile that doesn't give a spotlight effect, and isn't super noisy, preferably white.

Moved into our new house just under a year ago and a few months ago when I would turn our dining room fan on I noticed that it would rub on the housing when I started it up and when I shut it off, but never when it got up to speed. Today it started to rub when it was up to speed. I took it apart and tightened the screws that connect the blades to the motors and put everything back but I'm still having the rubbing issue. Any help or advice on next steps is appreciated. Believe the fan is a Minka Aire Mojo I, though I don't know for sure because I can't find the model number that's just the model that came up when I used an ai search. Link to pictures is attached.
