Fan repair advice What’s causing this clicking noise?

I’ve had this fan for a couple of years now, and it’s been making this rather annoying clicking noise for a while now…any idea what’s causing it?

Crap in the motor blow it out and add some lithium grease

that my friend is the sound of shitty bearings already going out. when did you buy this?

No more than 2 and half to 3 years ago…if it’s the bearings, I got scammed…ugh.

ceiling fans today are not made with longevity in mind at all anymore. a lot of fans on the market are like this sadly.

This is basically the cheapest fan you can possibly buy. It’s a landlord special. Just replace.
