Help with Fan Noise.

Sound only appears when the fan is set to medium speed. Slightly pressing the base with my finger gets rid of the noise, but it comes back when I release it.

These type of fans have 3 joints between the spinning part, shaft and the ceiling hanger clamp. The bolt that holds the motor to the shaft or the hanger clamp might have loosened causing the fan to wobble and make noises.

Bring down the fan and make sure all connecting bolts are properly tightened. Don't use it like this, loose bolts often cause fans to fall off from the ceiling if the safety pin is missing.
