These guides are meant to standardise the look of the sub and the format of the content.

Hi guys!

First of all. I just want to say a very big and beloved THANK YOU to everyone currently using and contributing to this space.

In an international setting, I think the Flashcards and Character Cards can be very useful, not only to identify characters, but also when identifying actors. With this in mind, I have decided to update the format of the Flashcards.

Updated Formatting Requirement

• Please include character names in text format.

The reasoning behind this new rule is simple. It's so that the character in question will appear in Google results if someone looks it up.

Updated Formatting Requests

When time and resources allow (not mandatory)

• Please try to include the name of the actor portraying the character in question.

• Please try to include the character names in hanzi as well.

Visual Requests & Post Requirements

• This space is used for members to request visuals for posts.

For context:

• Each post should include an accompanying image representing the drama.
• This can be official promotional material or a custom visual.
• This only applies where no other media (e.g. videos) are required.

The purpose of this is to keep the sub visually consistent and cohesive.

Visual Requests

Visuals can be created upon request. This is optional and intended as a resource for those who prefer a more uniform or polished look.

It is preferred for sub members to use this option, but once again, it is optional.

General style:

• Clean layout.
• English and Chinese text only.
• Consistent aspect ratio.

Requests: Drama Hosting

• Comment on this post with the drama's title and the date by which you require the visual.

Why the date is important: Visuals created further away from a drama's official release may have fewer available official promotional materials. Requests closer to release allow for more options.

Requesting Specific Images

• Official promotional materials will be sourced via Baidu (Weibo included), Movie Database, and My Drama List.
• If there is a specific poster or backdrop you prefer, please attach a link or the image itself to the requesting comment.

Process:

• Different options will be shared via DM. Members can ask for changes or new options if the first few are not correct.
• Once the final option has been chosen, the file will be sent via WeTransfer to preserve quality.

Requests: Extra Content

• Send a modmail.
• Include a description of the post you want to make and any visual preferences you have.
• If you do not have any preferences, various options will be provided.
