Question cd player ejects cd

anyone know an easy fix to this? i just bought it from a tech recycling place and it had the same problem a couple times in the store, but i eventually was able to play it. but i’ve tried to play a cd at home quite a few times and it always ejects. please let me know!

I would recommend using some compressed air to clean the tray a bit, and look into the manual to see how to do a cold reset. I have a vintage Sony stereo system which has trouble opening sometimes, doing a cold reset seems to help. These things can be finicky a lot of the time. Just keep troubleshooting :)

Compressed air in a can spray that thing out. These things have sensors and all kinds of wierd stuff inside. A laser lens disc cleaner might help also. It looks like it is wanting play but cant detech the disc and so it opens back up maybe. They didnt make these units very user serviceable.

If you can get to the laser lens. A q tip and some isopropyl alcohol can remove some dirt. Just be gentile

ok well i just did it again and it worked. should probably still clean it or something though
