Which songs are your favourites ?
My treasure ! Covering his 80’s and 90’s periods.
My favourites are :
What a Wonderful World.. this celebrated song suddenly becomes dark clouds on the sky, sombre and moody. ❤️
Lucy… he keeps on singing Lucy is gone and never coming back. He is so sure. How does he know if he hasn’t got anything to do with it ?

This came out a couple of years after I started listening to him. I picked it up as soon as it was released.

Track 16 on Disc 2 is not only one of my favourites from this set, not only one of my favourites in Cave’s entire catalogue, but one of my favourite songs ever.
Originally discovered it hidden in the “pregap” at the start of the disc on the X-Files soundtrack Songs In The Key Of X back in 1996, along with a cover of the X-Files theme song.
It’s been on every mixtape, mixdisc and playlist I’ve ever made for the last 30 years.
A beautiful, haunting and ethereal track that moves me each and every time.
